Massage

Aromatherapy: with Tracey Goulding. Aromatherapy uses essential oils from plants to relieve aches and pains, anxiety, and be uplifting. Massage after the first three months, can be just what you need. We also offer customised oils and creams blended for you, or you can chose from our pre-blended products:

  • Natural Stretch Oil - blend of pure, high quality oils to help prevent stretch-marks. This blend of natural oils has been specially formulated to help keep your skin as soft, supple and moisturised as possible whilst your baby grows. This oil will not get rid of stretch marks which are predominantly inherited but it will help. From the fourth month of pregnancy, gently massage the oil into your bump 3-4 times a week, increasing to once a day at 6 months. Ingredients: borage seed, almond, and olive oils, with carrot seed, lavender and tangerine essential oils.
  • Daily perineum softener - a week before your due date start using this oil to soften your perineum, this will help keep it supple and elastic, reducing the potential for perennial tears. Ingredients: rose and sweet almond oil.
  • Pregnancy Pick-Up Back Rub - a blend of natural oils that can be massaged into your back or anywhere else that aches. This is a gentle blend which uses oils that are pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory. Ingredients: St John's Wort, calendula, evening primrose oil, chamomile, lavender and geranium.

Each blend contains only pure oils with no added preservatives, or other chemicals. They nourish your skin and mind. We source our oils from suppliers who regularly test the quality of their oils using the most advanced techniques to ensure no contamination or dilution of the oils. Often expensive oils, such as Rose, are diluted with cheaper oils. Correct storage of oils is also very important to prevent toxins developing which are more likely to cause skin irritations and allergies.
